The traditional adobe ranch home site is nestled in woodlands under heritage valley oaks. The garden design integrated and simplified outdoor spaces, providing tangible and inviting connections between the indoors in an informal garden setting. The fireplace creates a warm intimate gathering area and provides a focal element at the pool terrace. The lawn off the living room was re-envisioned as a terrace with space to gather around a fire bowl on a perimeter seat wall. The original play area at the guest house now blends bold stone work, a fountain and a sculpture in the grasses.
